I think I've played with Google Earth for about 3-4 hours today. It's honestly amazing. I'm using it to zoom in on places I've always wondered about, and been wondering who lives there and what they're like.
So I want to travel - someday, when I can afford it. But I don't really want to travel to normal places like England, Germany, or even Australia. Right now, I kind of want to travel to central and eastern Russia. Yah, weird - I know. Lots of room, not too many people and all that. I want to relate these images I'm seeing with reality, if that makes any sense.
Well... in case I didn't make it clear - download the program. Give it a try. It's just a shame that Bloomington/Normal isn't hi-res. |
